ECHL Defenseman Of The Year, Sawyer signs. Sloane agrees to deal

The Cincinnati Cyclones Proud Members of the ECHL and affiliates of the Florida Panthers and Nashville Predators announced today that, ECHL Defenseman of the Year; JC Sawyer has agreed to a contract for 2010-11. Sawyer played last season for the Cyclones north rival, Toledo Walleye. In 68 games with the Walleye, Sawyer had 21 goals and 38 assists for 59 Points leading all ECHL defenseman. "J.C. is a very dynamic player, He should solidify our Power Play." Said, Cyclones Head Coach Jarrod Skalde.

Also agreeing to a deal was Defenseman, David Sloane. Sloane a second year pro spent most of his Rookie season in the AHL with the Adirondack Phantoms. Logging 20 games with the Phantoms and also appearing in the Stanley Cup Playoffs with the Philadelphia Flyers against the New York Rangers.
