BRAD SCHROEDER
The Cyclones announced their Training Camp roster today which features 17 players. The Cyclones also came to terms with Rookie defenseman, Brad Schroeder. Schroeder a 6'3 defenseman played the last four years at University of Princeton. He played 106 games in his college career and was All-ECAC twice. "He has the potential to be very good at this level. He's very defensive-minded and he's a good person." Clones' head coach, Jarrod Skalde said.
Sam D'Agostino played three seasons at the NCAA level with UMASS-AMHEARST and UMASS-LOWELL registering four points in 46 games. Sam is 6'0 200 pounds.
6'2 190 pound forward, Eric Salias also was invited to Traning camp after four seasons at Brown University playing in 71 games for the Bears amassing 22 points in his four years. He spent time in the USHL with Cyclone teammate, Kevin Roeder before arriving at Brown.
Defenseman, Mark Van Vliet who played 6 games as a Cyclone in 2009 scoring one goal spent his 2009-10 season in the SPHL (Southern Professional Hockey League) with the Knoxville Ice Bears playing in 51 games scoring 10 goals and collected 27 assists for 37 points in those 51 games. While also racking up 58 penalty minutes.
Defenseman, Ryan Hitchcock comes to Traning Camp from Marian College where he played three seasons of Varsity hockey. Playing in 83 games during his career the 6'2 defenseman scored 8 Goals and registered 17 Assists for 25 Points. Hitchcock also played for the Witchita Wildcats where Clones' forward Anthony Iquatino played last season.
The Cyclones also invited goalies, Tom Nischan and Cincinnati native, Justin Axelson to camp.
