The Cyclones and Wheeling Nailers will play a home-and-home series this weekend beginning Friday night at U.S. Bank Arena. The Cyclones enter the series 2-3 against the Nailers this season and trail the North Division lead by three points. If the Cyclones can win Friday and Saturday in regulation time they will have control of the ECHL North Division.
Wheeling Nailers forward, Nick Petersen ranks 7th in the ECHL in scoring with 16 goals 20 assists for 36 points in 30 games.
Wheeling goalie, Patrick Killeen ranks 9th in the ECHL with a 14-7-0-1 record with a 2.63 GAA and a .907 save%
The Cyclones enter this weekend series on a four game winning streak after sweeping the Florida Everblades three straight in Ft. Meyers , came back to Cincinnati last night and beat the rival Kalamazoo K-Wings 3-2 in OT.

Chet Pickard who was returned to the Cyclones last Friday is 2-0 since his assignment back to Cincinnati . Marc Cheverie has been holding down the fort in net for the Cyclones with a 12-7-2-2 record with a 2.93 GAA and .904 save%
DE-FENSE!:
Cyclones All-Star defenseman, Brian O’Hanley ranks 6th in the ECHL with 6 goals 14 assists and 20 points. T.J. Fast ranks 17th in the ECHL with 7 goals 8 assists for 15 points.
SCORING CATCHING FIRE:
Mathieu Aubin shares the Cyclones lead in points with 9 goals 17 assists for 26 points in his 35 games this season. Captain, Barrett Ehgoetz is tied with Aubin in points at 26; Ehgoetz who was named to the ECHL All-Decade team has 7 goals while leading the Clones’ with 19 assists.
