Adam Comrie joins Cyclones

The Cincinnati Cyclones have announced that rookie Defeneseman, Adam Comrie has been assigned by the Rochester Americans of the AHL.  The 6'4 215 pound Asburn, Virginia native was drafted in the 3rd round (80th overall) by the Florida Panthers in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft.

Comrie played three seasons in the OHL with the Saginaw Spirit and Guelph Storm. In 178 OHL games, Adam collected 33 goals with 65 assists for 98 points while spending 239 minutes in the sin-bin. While in Rochester this season, Comrie has played in 17 games registering 3 assists and 10 penalty minutes.

The Cyclones begin their three game set in Estero, FL tonight against the Florida Everblades. Comrie will be in uniform for the Clones, who look to avenge back to back losses at US Bank Arena earlier this season to Florida.
