After the 1st period in Wheeling, WV at WesBanco Arena, the Nailers hold a 1-0 lead on the Cyclones. The Clones' had 3 power play opportunites in the 1st but were unable to capitalize on any of them. Wheeling took the 1-0 lead at 14:08 of the 1st when Ben Street found a loose puck in front of Jeremy Smith to knock home the goal. Shots favored the Nailers 11-7 in period 1.
