Cyclones recieve Hudson and Pickard, Smith sent to Milwaukee

The Cincinnati Cyclones proud members of the ECHL and defending Kelly Cup Champions have recieved defenseman, Carl Hudson from the Rochester Americans of the AHL. Hudson played four seasons at Canasius College of the AHA where he finished in the top five every season in penalty minutes. Hudson also had 34 points his Senior season with the Griffins in 35 games to lead the team. After finishing his career, Carl played seven games with the Rochester Americans including 4 playoff games.

In a suprise turn of events, the Cyclones also have recieved the Nashville Predators #1 pick from the NHL DRAFT in 2008, goalie Chet Pickard. In 2010-11, Pickard so far was 0-3-1 with the Admirals with a 3.47 GAA. This move is similar to last season when Mark Dekanich was sent to Cincinnati to regain his confidence for two games. As a rookie in 2009-10, Pickard was 14-16-3 for Milwaukee.

This will be the 2nd call up of the season for Jeremy Smith and 3rd of his professional career.
