J.C. Sawyer released by Cyclones

Reigning ECHL Defenseman of The Year, J.C. Sawyer was released today by the Cyclones. After playing in two games for the Clones' collecting a goal and three assists J.C. was placed on 3 day I.R. before his release. We were able to get a quote from Cyclones radio broadcaster Nick Brunker on the move. "J.C. simply did not want to play the system put in place by Jarrod Skalde. It was easy to see that he struggled playing a defensive style game, something coach Skalde insists on his defenseman to do."

With the Cyclones recieving, Carl Hudson the move did not effec the number of players on the Cyclones roster.
